Sunny days are great convertible days.

Waking up this morning to sunshine instead of the rain from Saturday made my day to start. Even better, the temperature wasn’t too chilly, so I figured it would be a great day to save some gas and take the G-RAFFE to my photo shoot in Hastings. I’ve always liked the bridge going across the Mississippi, and I love the little car, so I thought it would make a nice photo to combine the two.
I did find a fleece to wear, but it takes a lot to top driving on a sunny day with the top down. No real point in turning on the radio, and all you’ve got to listen to is the wind and the road.
Hoping for many more weekends like this over the upcoming summer and fall months. Also, with gas prices being as expensive as they are, it’s great to have this which gets far better fuel economy than my SUV, and it usually attracts some attention wherever I take it.

I love this little car, hopefully someday I get to have a ride! But I won’t be up in MN during the right weather until summer 2009. Bummer for me!
A cool car makes a nice photo. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Hastings bridge from that angle before. Nice work.
Now I’m homesick.
